Thoughtful, Patient First Dentistry in Beulah, Michigan

Modern dental care grounded in evidence based science, but open to cutting edge alternative research. Dentistry delivered with time, attention, and respect for each individual patient

The doctor behind the practice.

Dr. Lisa Musgrave believes dentistry should feel personal. Her name is on the sign, and she stands behind every decision made inside the practice.

After experiencing dental trauma as a child, she understands what it feels like to sit in the patient chair. That experience shaped the way she practices today, with patience, clarity, and a commitment to minimizing unnecessary treatment.

This is not a practice driven by what insurance dictates. This is not a practice driven by production goals. Appointments are scheduled with time to listen, explain, and make thoughtful decisions together.

A Different Approach to Dental Care

Many dental practices are structured around speed, volume, and insurance requirements. We have chosen a different path, one that prioritizes time, educated, and individualized care.

Time

Appointments are scheduled to allow meaningful conversation. You will never feel rushed through your visit. It is helpful if you let us know your questions and concerns ahead of time so we can be prepared.

Informed Choices

Decisions made with you, not for you. At our office, we empower you with choices, making you a true partner in your oral healthcare journey. Together, let’s explore how to keep you healthy.

Individualized Care

One size fits one. Some patients prefer traditional approaches. Others are interested in alternative therapies. We support care based on your goals and comfort.

What We Offer

Preventive Care

Our primary goal is to help patients maintain healthy teeth and gums for life. Through Guided Biofilm Therapy cleanings, advanced diagnostics, salivary testing, PH testing, software that helps monitor changes in X-rays over time and education, we focus on prevention before restoration.

Restorative Dentistry

When treatment is necessary, we provide customized options that always focus on preserving the most tooth structure and restoring function and appearance.

Non-Invasive Therapeutics

For early-stage concerns, we offer evidence-based remineralization therapies that strengthen enamel without drilling by applying peptides. Brush-on Nanotechnology - Medicines that are 1 to 100 nanometers in size have special properties against microbes. They get into the tiny pores where tooth structure has been lost. They either regenerate lost parts of the tooth, or integrate in the dentin or enamel to protect against future decay with dramatic effectiveness.

Advanced Diagnostics

Digital imaging, 3D scanning, and non-radiation cavity detection allow us to monitor changes carefully over time.

Your Oral Health Can Prevent Heart Attack and Stroke Before It Happens

Did you know that your oral health is a major factor in heart health? Dr. Musgrave is trained in The BaleDoneen Method, a science-based methodology that is medically proven and accepted to both prevent and reverse heart attacks, strokes, and many other chronic conditions.

Someone suffers a heart attack every 42 seconds, and someone dies from one every 83 seconds. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in the United States. Strokes are the leading cause of disability. Someone suffers a stroke every 40 seconds, and someone dies from one every 240 seconds. These statistics need to change.

The BaleDoneen Method provides a moneyback guarantee . If any BDM patient experiences a heart attack or stroke while under their care, they get their money back.

The goal of the BaleDoneen Method is to determine whether patients have arterial inflammation and, if so, to apply individualized treatment to extinguish it and halt its progression using genetically guided, evidence-based therapies.

The dental component of this method includes:

A complete periodontal assessment of your gums to measure the pocket depths, clinical attachment loss, and bleeding when probing and X-rays to detect bone loss around teeth.

A 3-D cone beam tomography (CBCT) to detect plaque in the carotid artery in the neck and any infection present at the roots of teeth

A salivary test to detect the presence of the highest risk oral bacteria that then enter the bloodstream and spread throughout the body, causing chronic inflammation - the cause of arterial disease.
